Even though many of them revolve around cops, they still manage to win my admiration with fresh storytelling and solid performances. Office on Duty is no exception—it has now entered my list of favorite films. Kunchacko Boban breathed life into his role as a police officer. His performance is simply outstanding, especially in some of the key emotional and intense scenes. He plays a character with multiple shades—a father who’s a victim, and a fierce police officer who will go to any lengths to deliver justice. He pulls off both aspects with depth and conviction.
