When you're afraid of water, you don't need much else to feel tense. Just seeing a vast body of water is enough to make you sit on edge, but add a shark swimming in it, and you’re in for a heart-pounding experience. I loved the lab setup in the middle of the ocean where they kept the sharks. The sharks looked so real that it was hard to believe they were created with VFX. The plot was strong, and the actors all delivered excellent performances. There were so many underwater scenes that I can only imagine how much training the cast went through.
There were several scenes that literally took my breath away:
- When the shark carries a man and throws him against the underwater glass. This is my absolute favorite scene.
- The moment when a man is preaching near the pool, and suddenly, a shark grabs him. Two sharks rip him apart—it’s both shocking and iconic.
- The scene where a woman kills the shark by injecting a power wire into its mouth.
- The entire sequence where the team tries to escape by climbing a ladder inside the escape route, only for the ladder to break.
- The climactic moment where a man kills the shark.
These are my favorite moments from the movie. Deep Blue Sea is definitely worth watching, and by now, I doubt there's anyone who hasn't seen it. But if you haven't, you’re in for a thrilling ride. I just wanted to share how much I love this movie—if you get the chance, do check it out!
The main actor in this movie also acted in the telugu film called 'Padamati Sandhyaragam', which is also one of my favorite movie, which definitely I talk about later.
